Rick, born Frederick A. Chapman IV, was born sometime around the end of 1987. He grew up all around the country, from East to West. In second grade, his true love for music became known. He listened to his first bit of the Beatles and loved it. Also, his friend had just gotten "Dookie" by Green Day. This was just the start of Rick's love for music. In fourth grade, after quitting the piano, Rick learned how to read music and play the Clarinet. By then, he had loved bands like Third Eye Blind, The Offspring, and Lit. When he moved to Pennsylvania in 1999, some of his favorite bands were Blink 182 and Limp Bizkit (the typical elementary school music) but soon learned that there was more talent out there. In 7th grade, he taught himself how to play the drums, and got lessons to perfect it, courtesy of George's Music. In the summer of '02, he was asked by fellow acquantices, John Anderson and Drew Budwin, to be in their two-person band, Armada. So to this day, Rick has been the drummer of Armada and has been drumming along, making his way.
